Qualitative and Quantitative Comparison of Liquid–Liquid Phase Extraction Using Ethyl Acetate and Liquid–Solid Phase Extraction Using Poly-Benzyl-Resin for Natural Products

چکیده

A key step in the process of isolating microbial natural products is preparation an extract from a culture. This determines which molecules will be available for detection subsequent chemical and biological analysis biodiscovery pipeline. In present study we wanted to document potential differences performance between liquid–liquid extraction using ethyl acetate liquid–solid poly-benzyl-resin. For comparison two protocols, spiked culture Flavobacterium sp. with diverse selection plant origin investigate whether methods were comparable respect selectivity. We also investigated efficiency quantitatively, water products, studied quantitative effect different pH levels aqueous solutions on yields methods. The same compounds extracted by methods, but solid-phase contained more media components compared liquid-phase extract. Quantitatively, varied their recovery rates. conclude that practical aspects could important when selecting one as efficiencies extracting specific quite similar.
